Well isn’t this convenient timing? Jim just played the original “Davey Crockett” on the show this Sunday, and then Hinds (fka Deers, who released two of my favorite singles last year) go and post up their stellar cover of the classic.
Jangly Montreal garage rock that brings to mind Let it Bloom-era Black Lips, which is never a bad thing. The band’s S/T LP is out now on Burger/P. Trash and you can grab the entire thing over at their bandcamp page.
