I just picked up this record from Numero Group. So I thought i’d post a song. Hop over to Numero Group to read the full details. Basically, Patience got some play in LA, but the associated album never got released proper. But it features “lyrics about getting baked and eating baked apple pie .” So how could you go wrong?
Hey! We’re posting songs again! Mikal Cronin put out MCIII earlier this week, and it’s a pretty great slab of guitar pop. He appears to have gotten the celebrity seal of approval from both Kristen Schaal (from the Daily Show/Last Man on Earth) and Kurt Braunohler (of jet skiing across the US fame) in his video for “Turn Around”. And if you need one more famous-dude endorsement to really commit to the song, Conan O’Brien seemed to really enjoy it when Cronin stopped by his show last week:

A little late with today’s post, but I thought i’d go with a classic. As I was just listening to this at home. And i’m stoked by it! This is very exciting. For the last couple of months, due to health issues, listening to music stopped being fun most of the time. The fact that it’s fun again is very liberating. Very very liberating.
Sort of teetering back into this. I remember when Uncle Tupelo played the Khyber Pass in Philly. I was underaged and didn’t go. I’d snuck into the Khyber a couple of times, but it was far from the norm. Anyhow, reports back were that I would have liked it. I’m sort of easy to gauge in that way.
