Yesterday, I posted a song from Monoganon on Lost Map Records. I liked that song a lot, though the rest of their stuff is mixed for me. The real reason I wound up listening to that track though was Tuff Love. Tuff Love is another Lost Map Records artist and they are just great. Listen up!

This song starts slow so hang in there. It’s worth the wait.
Swirling shoegaze from Russia(!), bonus points for the crucial Astrobrite reference.
The Pins and several other ladies are featured on this Matter of Sound video for International Women’s Day (March 8). It’s a good short video. And Pins talks about having to play without all of their amps turned up and such. And yeah, been there. It’s a new kind of experience. Though they aren’t that stripped down on that video, but still…
Reminds me of Hysterics if they had a production budget.
Gee, another great band. Spook The Herd on Seagreen records.
For some reason, I went into this video thinking I wouldn’t like this band. I was wrong. Reminds me of a noisy indie band merged with uncle tupelo. Hard to argue with that.
