Here’s some lovely Slowdive worship by London-via-Italy shoegazers Leave the Planet. The single is out in early February on Kanine Records.
A friend of mine posted this on one of those social network things. Somehow I missed this but it’s great!
This is the Pop. 1280 song I would’ve played on the show Sunday night if the pesky FCC would stop meddling in my business.
This track from Pope is pretty great. This band features one member of Donovan Wolfington. And the end of the earth.
Looking forward to hearing this on Sunday.
My Monday post accidentally posted on Sunday. Oh well. Here is something for Tuesday from the tiny quarts of life I have left.
A no-brainer today… RIP.
Something new and interesting. Thee Speaking Canaries was a one-man project of Damon Che of Don Caballero. And it’s quite good. The track below is from some initial recordings that were never actually released.
Besides listening to those tracks, you can check out this mini-documentary on the release of this album after 24 years. Then go and pre-order it on bandcamp.
